@sasawsome11, are you saying that a baby’s head is so soft that floating in water could damage it? do YOU have a hole in your head? if that was true, then you even slightly touching a baby’s head at all will damage it. floating in water is not going to harm a baby’s head, and likewise the hole in a baby’s skull has absolutely no correlation with damaging its neck. accidents happen when you’re protected or not, so preventing it is the best way to go.
reading the comments here and some of these people are fucking idiots. the video is trying to tell you that babies have a NATURAL tendency to swim. a baby spends nine months essential underwater before it’s born, so swimming reflexes are very natural. by the time a baby is old enough to walk, it’s old enough to accidentally walk right over the edge of a swimming pool, and when that time comes, you’d better hope your kid can float to save its own life. it’s called preventative measures, guys.

Its common sense to teach your baby to float in water enough to cry for help so they dont die in seconds in an emergency. & they will learn to swim sooner. drowning is #1 baby death. yea of corse you need supervision & pool cover/gate/fence, but get real its like a fire drill.
